We currently have a 40 hour per week (Full Time) or a 30 Hour per week (Part Time) enrollment at our school. Historically, most students have enrolled in the 30 hour per week one. But the completion time utilizing 100% attendance for each one is:
40 hours per week -- 38 weeks (9.5 months)
30 hours per week -- 50 weeks (12.5 months)
Completion time is ultimately dependent on the Attendance Percentage the student maintains.
More course specifics can be found in our Student Catalog, which is downloadable on our website under "School Document". This can also be discussed in more detail with the Director during your tour visit. Call and Schedule a tour today!
We currently do not have Title IV Financial Aid for Tuition, but are working to obtain our accreditation to obtain financial aid for our students. But we offer our own financing to the students. They will pay a minimal amount while in school at 0% interest and then the remaining balance will be due over 24 months at 6% interest.
All Labs, Student Kits, and other Fees will have to be paid prior to a student beginning classes. We can work with the student on a payment plan for the kit and lab for payments prior to starting class. Refer to our "Tuition Costs" page on our website for detailed cost information or download our Student Catalog, which is found in our "School Document" section on our website.

We presently only offer a Cosmetology Program, which consists of Esthetics training as part of the Program. Currently we do not offer a stand-alone Esthetics Program. We hope to offer one in the not too distant future. We will post on our Website and Social Media when we do begin offering an Esthetics Program.
Esthetics is taught as part of the Cosmetology Program, so you not only obtain the licensure to perform Esthetics services, but also everything within the realm of the Cosmetology Program. This can be discussed further during your school tour visit with the Director. Call and schedule one today!

Regina Benton School of Cosmetology can not guarantee a student find employment after they graduate. We do network with area salons and other industry businesses to assist graduates to find employment. Regina has a great record of assisting in finding employment for graduate students.
Regina also has a great record of assisting enrolled students in finding employment in industry related businesses. Of course a student is limited in what they skills they can perform prior to licensure by State Board, but they can become employed and gain tremendous experience in industry business or salons to better prepare for when they do graduate and are able to apply their earned skills.

Regina Benton School of Cosmetology per se does not offer a Distance Learning (online Classes) program for any of their Cosmetology Program. With that said, we have utilized Distance Learning during the mandatory Covid-19 Pandemic Shutdown we experienced in 2020. Going forward if the need were to arise, we may utilize Distance Learning again as required and as SC State Board of Cosmetology allows. We don't employ its use as a normal part of our curriculum.
We do not offer a Leave of Absence for students that may require an extended absence. If a student requires an extended absence after their enrollment and classes have started, then they will have to withdraw from the program. They may be eligible to re-enroll at a later date and continue their curriculum where they left off. More specifics can be found in our Student Catalog, which is downloadable on our website under "School Document". This can also be discussed in more detail with the Director during your tour visit. A Student can setup their account with South Carolina State Board of Cosmetology prior to their graduation, once they reach 1350 completed instructed hours. This will allow the process for licensure examination to begin, as it takes a time period for submitting an application, scheduling of the licensure examination, and the actual licensure examinations to be performed. The State Board Licensure Examinations consist of two parts; Theory and Practical Examinations.
